The DIXINITALY, born as a band of Traditional Jazz during the '80,  has subsequently chosen to revist in Dixieland style some classical masterpieces of the Italian Song, anticipating in this, tendencies that, in the last times, are having wide echo, and breathing therefore new life to a composite repertoire capable of reaching an ever bigger public.
The "philological" part that runs over the musical itinerary anchored to the extraordinary atmospheres of the Jazz of the origins, is tied up to the classics of Traditional jazz. Passages composed or made famous by Louis Armstrong, Bix Beiderbecke, King Oliver, Kid Ory, Duke Ellington, etc...
The Italian proposal takes its beginnings  from some unforgettable masterpieces re-elaborated with the intent to recover and to valorize the melodic lines, the harmonies, the jazz rhythms that are present in the compositions of some Italian composers like Gorni Kramer, Fred Buscaglione, Nicola Arigliano, Domenico Modugno, Natalino Otto; To this last Italian singer, the journalist Mario Pogliotti has devoted and entitled an original passage "Caro (Dear) Natalino", which was inserted in the first CD the band recorded in 1999, was select as the signature tune of a 1999 Italian Rai Radiotelevisione Tv Show devoted to the great interpreter of the postwar period.
The Dixinitaly Jazz Band has participated in some of the most important Festivals of Classical and Traditional Jazz :
